Reel lites added another 5' wire! Why!
To get the light further from the boat by using a "swimming pool noodle, or bobber" so the boat will not spook the fish.
For example: most bass fisherman that fish at night using top water lures use black lures, like a black Jitterbug....the darker colors show up more to a fish looking up at the surface from below.
For this very reason I have always had a light colored boat with the exception of the G3 boat that I had...it was charcol....my new boat is platnum color and I have noticed that I can get in closer to bedding areas without spooking the fish as bad with the new boat.
I am not a expert by any means and do not claim to be one.... this is just what I have noticed and what I think. Therefore recommended to Bob to add additonal 5' wiring to the lights.

Reel lights comes with 2 clips for a bobber or noodle, the other clip for a chum bag to speed up the process of attracting bait fish.

Here is neat idea: 1. telescopic fishing rod 2. Zip tie electrical line to eye lites (not tight) 3. Flip light out away from boat. 4. Bobber well help maintain depth

Along the shore line using Reel Lite bobber clip to float the light 15' or 35' cord works great!
|
Pier fishing one can use a battery pack, or small 12 volt battery and fish off the banks at night!
