OK, I tried out something new
tonight and it was the coolest
thing ever.. I fished the docks
while it was raining with a new
product called Reel-lites. It's a 612
led submersible light with 2600
lumen's and I can truly say that it
lights up everything. The plankton
and minnows showed up within
minutes. Had my first fish hooked
on in less than five minutes. We
fished for 2 hours and at one time,
we were catching whites one after
another. It's really neat to see the
fish swimming around the green
light. Ended up catching walleye,
LMB, drum, and tons of whites.
You have to check them out.

Bob, we are finally starting to catch
some Crappie under the light. We
had 2 that were big, almost in the
boat, and they fell off. We did get
some smaller ones, I sure love the
light. It not only shines around
where your fishing, but on the
other side of the boat too. Can't
believe how bright it is. I had it in
the water 10 minutes and had
"critters" swimming all around it,
then the minnows came in, then
the Crappie. My wife & I really had
fun. Were starting to learn a little
better.

boat. Was pretty bright on
opposite side of boat. Tons of got
light and bob was great to deal
with very fast responses".
"Got it: Had to try it out, sure puts
out a bright light. Can't wait to
have it installed on the boat. Your
workmanship is top notch and I'm
very pleased with your product.
Bob, thanks so much. I look
forward to doing more business
with you".

weekend, really impressed with
the amount of area the glow
covered underwater. Would get
bite almost every time dropped jig
down around light. I will take
camera with me next time".
"New REEL LITES In   (Link)
Came in from work and the new
REEL LITE was in the mail box.
Could not stand it so I put the green
one in the pond at the house. I was
impressed with how much light it
put out from such a small package.
REEL LITE is only 9 inches long so it
will be easy to store in the Boat
can't wait to get it in the lake and
check it out with the AQUA-VU,
Here is a picture of light in pond
hooked up to a 5ah battery. Picture
does not do it justice"

"Bob, the way you explain it on
your website I know it's gonna be
a winner. I can't wait to install
them as running lights and show
off them off. People will ask and I'll
answer! Thank you so much"!

"We have had a couple different
ones from Cabalas and Academy,
but I really like the one we ordered
from Reel-Lites.com. He makes
them with LEDs instead of
fluorescent. It was much brighter
than the comparable fluorescent
ones. My cousin actually ordered
the light that we are using. We plan
on getting a couple more. They are
much brighter and much more
efficient. Great Product!"

"Well......Reel Lite has  got a lot of
upsides, good looking light, tough
made. They liked the LED's and
their low battery draw, small
compact easy to store, does not
take up a lot of room.

The downside for that particular
light is it had clamps on it instead of
cigarette lighter plug. (availably)
Everybody around here uses a boat
and Would rather just plug in....Its
difficult to connect up to battery in
some of these boats because of the
way the compartment door is
hinged....its hard to do that when
you are in the water.
All in all everyone thought the light
looked great." "G"

0.4 Amp draw
"My calculations show the same
thing. That is great.....very little
amp draw.......run forever on one
of my high amp reserve amp hr
group 31's which I have three on
the boat. I can run my 80 lb. Thrust
trolling motor on two of those
continuous all day long at 1.8 mph
and not run out of battery so no
problem running the lights".  "G"
bob,
I forgot to let you know I
received the light, like a dummy it
did even get wet other night I
forgot it at home anyways I have
turned it on and I believe I will
need sun block cause that dang
thing is bright. I will let you know
how it works a the draw it does
on my setup on my next night
stalk!!! Now for the best part we
have another member on CDC
thats looking to change his
current setup and i told him
about your 612's and 712's but I
told him before he buys he is
welcome to see your 612 in
action me and him will be going
on a night stalk I hope he gets
his new lights from you!!!
Get one fo them Reel-lites from

When my knee gets well I am
going to try my new
Reel-lites out
by making a trip to Lake Erie and
getting after some nice Walleye
there in the Sandusky area. I
know the ones you made for my
bank fishing trips here in
Alabama have done a wonderful
job of attracting baitfish to the
bank and then it was easier to
catch the crappies in the dusk to
10pm time frame. They are great
lites.  Mike Carter

Thanks I try
Bob, I got the pair of green lights
today, hooked them up to my
battery, Wow, they are brighter
than I expected. I can't wait to
see them in the water. I can

Who Would have thunk
Just got PM from a friend and
customer who has the Reel Lites,
"Bob those Reel Lites make
awesome party lights"

I knew there were many ways to
use the light, but this one
knocks it out of the ball park

"I have had great luck using the
LED light, as a matter of fact if
you were to come to Johnson
creek on the weekend you will
see my neighbors are using the
lights as well. I just slip it into
the water just before the
daylight is gone and turn it on. It
puts out a pretty wide circle of
light and draws the fish in. I
catch more fish than the guys
not using it......I like it so much I
now have 3 of them....and with
the low drain on the battery all 3
light on all night I still have
battery life at the end of the
night.
Good Luck".

"Just bought 1 today, I hope it
really works! anybody on here
every try it"???

"Hey Bob, I found another good
use for the light! I secured it to
the radio antenna with the rubber
band that came with the the radio
antenna with the and it didn't
attract the bugs as rubber band
that came with the the white
anchor light did. light, sure
brighten up the boat Another
great use! In the water it sure
brighten up the underside of the
boat".

encased in clear PVC. Very bulky

"Let me just get the 100 LED One
bass
Pro Shop special fluorescent
light
. It sucks. It gives out very
little light. It draws hardly any
minnows. So I just need the money
order? No tax or shipping? I will
go get the money order tonight
and send it out on Monday.
Thanks"! Darin

"Bob I got to tell you, I needed to
take the guide on's off my boat
trailer. I had my light hooked to
the boat battery 15 Min. After it
came out of the box. I got under
the boat and laid the light beside
me, I had all the light I needed to
UN-bolt those guides. That little
thing is really bright for it's size. I
can't wait to get out night fishing
with it. I'm impressed and happy
with it so far, makes a heck of a

trouble light...Thanks"...

"I have used these lights
from the boat at night and
they work great.....What I like
is the low amp draw, you do
not have to worry about
pulling you battery down. I
like these lights because
they are small in size and do
not take up a lot of room, but
still do a great job of bring
the baitfish in which in turn
attracts bigger great lights at
a good price."

June 2, 2011

We  had the opportunity to take the Reel Lite 408 LED  up to the lake over
Memorial Day weekend.  The light performed without any problem.  We
removed the alligator clips as we had discussed on the phone and connected
it to a DC converter and timer so that would come on each night around 9 PM
and stay on until 2 AM.

The number of fish that collected around the light was unbelievable!  There
where hundreds of bait fish, perch and Bass around the light.

We first placed it in 8 foot water at the bottom of the lake and it illuminated the
area perfectly.  On the last night we moved it to the dock in about 4 foot of
water and it was like looking into an aquarium with all the fish around the dock
the light attracted.

I tried to get you some pictures but couldn't inactivate the flash.  This caused
a reflection on the waters surface so that you couldn't see the illumination
from the light.  I'll try again in a few weeks with another camera when I get
back up the house and try and get you some good pictures.

Thank you again for making the modifications to the cord to allow us to move
it further from the dock and into deeper water.  It worked just as I had thought
it would.

Sincerely
Bob Stippel

Had a great trip with the light.
It helped us see great dealing with the salmon at net.
It also made it safer in the rocky areas.  Took a beating but kept on beaming!

4 man limit of 20, all 12 - 28#   kings n coho fish were every where, 15 to a bar!  We
caught 60 fish in all and had on another 120 on i bet, Bob.  Ill have smoked salmon if
you want any.  Our take was around 240# of fillets we brought home!
